Breakfast at Southview at from 8:15 – 9:30 and is freshly made to order. We start with an extensive cold buffet offering fruit juices, cereals, porridge, nuts, preserves and Ann Forshaw’s thick and creamy yogurts with either a fresh fruit salad or fruit compote. This is followed by a selection of home cooked options catering for a wide range of dietary needs.
Start the day with a mouth-watering cumbrian cooked breakfast that includes locally sourced pork or Cumberland sausage, grilled local bacon, grilled tomato, hash, beans, sauté mushrooms and a choice of egg.

For fish lovers we offer delicious smoked haddock braised in milk with poached egg, buttery oak-smoked kippers with poached and smoked salmon with creamy scrambled eggs.
In addition, there are scrumptious vegetarian and vegan options. For the veggies, there’s the option of our cumbrian cooked breakfast with a replacement vegetarian cumberland sausage or a range of tasty omelettes. For our vegans guests, we offer a range of nuts, seeds and dried fruit to supplement cereals. Hot options include a vegan full english with a replacement sausage and egg.
Along with our breakfast is a never ending supply of organic fair trade fresh coffee and a variety of teas and a selection of white, wholemeal or seeded toast.
